Public Health Act Funerals Conference

Finders International are bringing together staff from across England and Wales for the first time to discuss Public Health Act Funerals provided as a statutory duty by Local Authorities and Health trusts.

The event, at The Studio in Birmingham on April 18th is open to anyone providing statutory funerals across England and Wales. A wide range of speakers will be on hand to discuss topics relevant to those that administer this statutory provision.

David Lockwood, Finders Public Sector Development Manager said “We want to start a conversation amongst those who undertake this role within the public sector” he continued “so many staff work in isolation with little support, we want them to know that they are not alone and there is support for them out there”. David also commented that “there is no statutory service level, some authorities will undertake certain tasks where others won’t, for instance what should be done with any property?”

Finders hope that this event will lead to a better understanding and sharing of knowledge and experience amongst professionals who are tasked to carry out this sensitive role.

We are sure that this event is going to be extremely popular, we are not limiting the numbers per authority and encourage you to register your interest as soon as possible.
