Social Worker Webinar

When: 22nd February 2024 | 10:30am – 11:30am
Location:
Online, via Livestorm
Cost: FREE

Finders International are hosting a free event adapted exclusively for those working within and in association with the social care sector in the UK. Whilst social workers are devoted to helping their vulnerable clients and communities work through challenges they face in everyday life, we hope to assist and support those working within this vital sector by providing free tailored training, insights and advice within a bite-sized online event.

In our inaugural session, we are thrilled to welcome Ben Slater, a distinguished, well-qualified Social Worker and Managing Director of Nellie Supports, as our esteemed guest speaker. Ben will delve into the topic ‘The Therapeutic Nature of Assessments,’ uncovering the secrets of tailoring a therapeutic approach to each individual, ensuring a more meaningful and supportive assessment, all while upholding the principles of the Mental Capacity Act. We will also explore the dynamic landscape of digitalisation in social care assessments, gain a deeper understanding of why assessments transcend a mere series of questions and discover best practices in social work.

Hosting the session alongside Ben is our Finders industry expert, David Lockwood, who will be supplying tailored insights and advice from the perspective of probate genealogy, informing of what happens when your client passes away and delving into a relevant case study referred to Finders by a social worker.
