Finders International joins BBC Heir Hunters for Series 8

Finders International has agreed to appear in Heir Hunters Series 8, to be shown on the BBC from January 2014.

Heir Hunters takes a fly on the wall look at real cases involving the tracing of beneficiaries to estates, leading viewers through the complex and painstaking steps that genealogists take to research family trees and find those who are due what is sometimes a substantial inheritance.

Finders in collaboration with the makers of the series will take a look at the work of its young and dedicated team based in central London, as well as the professional and human side of the heir hunting industry.

Daniel Curran, Managing Director and founder of Finders, said:

“We are delighted to have accepted the invitation to join Heir Hunters for Series 8. The commitment to show the human and professional side or our work convinced us that taking part was the right thing to do.”

Heir Hunters has generated more interest in the field of probate research, but has coincided with  the emergence of numerous problems at the margins of the industry, including alleged fraud and scam emailing, Finders operates according to its own strict code of conduct and has invested in fraud prevention and the raising of professional standards as a priority.

Located close to all major record sources and depositories, Finders provides a full range of services to solicitors and other B2B clients. The firm works with Aviva insurance to provide missing beneficiary insurance and missing will insurance to enable safe and secure estate distribution.
